We are raising our glasses too. In fact have done so for a few nights. The house is so empty!
I am so very sorry to hear of Belle's passing. She looks like one real cutie. I have had dogs most of my life but I have got a couple now who have taught me more about dogs than I ever knew before. One of my dogs of long ago, her name was Kammie, altho I was told she was a Sheltie mix, she looked more like Belle - Kammie was built a lot like Belle and would run and jump into my arms with little cue. Wow - she was 14 - such a good age. Dog are just not with us long enough - or is there ever enough time? Again, I am so sorry.

I know how you must feel as I just lost my Border Collie. Its terrible watching them dying and its just as bad when they've gone. I'm sure you are heart broken so I will for sure be saying a pray for you tonight. Rob.

Heart wrenching, losing our dogs. Although we never really lose them, I'm finding. Mopsa is in my thoughts every day, as I'm sure Belle is in yours.
