Homeless in Brussels.


I came across this photograph of these dogs belonging to one of the many homeless here in Brussels.

At first you feel sad when you see the picture but then notice the dogs have their food bowl and blankets. That shows their owner is doing their best to care for them. I wish them well.

The photographer is Bruno Leloup. That's all I know about him. I visit his blog regularly.

I agree homeless people on the whole look after their dogs quite well. However, often the dogs are abandoned when they get sick because they cannot afford to pay for vetenary care. I also know sick dogs are abandoned in the hope that they will be adopted by someone who can look after them.
