Dog wash

We visited a huge and well stocked garden centre and we came across this dog wash machine.

Here are the instructions.

I cannot image putting Belle in one of those.  She would hate it!

Goodness. They had one of these at the busy car wash in Italy. It was designed to give any dog owner who tried it a nervous breakdown. What sort of dog would just sit there while this large machine makes loud, threatening noises.

My dog Tommy hates having a bath to the point of it upsetting him so I just haven't forced him so I was quite excited the other week when I saw some dry cleaning foam wash for dogs. I wasn't sure it would work very well as it sounded too good to be true but I bought some and gave it a go and it works great. His coat is really shiny and soft and he didn't mind getting dry cleaned one bit, in fact he thought it was fun so if any of your readers have similar problems at bath time I can recommend it.

Thank you all for commenting. We are obviously all practical dog owners and would never have thought of designing a "thing like that".
Rob, thanks for the tip.
